Mr. Heung studied law at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He was admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 1995. Mr Heung’s practice mainly involves commercial litigation and criminal litigation. Mr. Heung handles a wide range of litigation cases involving multi-national corporations and those to Courts of all levels and special tribunals in Hong Kong.

Some of Mr. Heung’s recent notable experience: -

- Successfully assisted client not just in rescinding the Removal Order made by the Director of Immigration against her being a suspect of possessing and using a forged foreign passport to enter into Hong Kong, but also successfully assisted her to obtain Hong Kong identity card as a statelessness person without nationality.

- Member of the legal team for Mr. Carson Yeung Ka Sing, former president of Birmingham F.C Club at trial of money laundering charges in District Court of Hong Kong.

- Engaged as a member of the defence team in a proceeding commenced by Independent Commission Against Corruption (“ICAC”) for Mr. Tse Sui Luen, founder of TSL Jewellery, a global jewellery retail group.

- Represented a client in defending a claim in Convoy Global Holdings Limited and others v Cho Kwai Chee Roy and others.

- Represented the Plaintiff in a construction dispute case in the High Court of Hong Kong in Ipson Renovation Limited v the Incorporation Owners of Connie Tower.

Mr. Heung is also a former part-time lecturer of a non-government educational organizational teaching different law-related courses including a diploma course for disciplinary force, in which he was the course leader and examiner, namely Professional Diploma in Disciplinary Force Management “Legal Practice for Disciplinary Officer”.

Mr. Heung is a member of the China People's Political Consultative Conference Guilin Committee since 2021.

Civil litigation includes matrimonial proceedings, personal injuries,

shareholders disputes, insolvency, intellectual property rights, construction disputes,

contentious probate, conveyancing dispute, employment etc.
